As a child, I fell into a vat of toxic waste and gained super imaginative powers.  At first, this involved spacing out in school and being really bad at long division, but it gradually included unbridled bouts of prose. 

I earned a BS in computer science, a BA in Creative Writing, and an MA in Creative Writing at SUNY Binghamton.   Hardened in the fires of Clarion South 2007, learned how to channel my imagination and make it decently salable.  .

When not in my writing costume, I daylight as a game developer for a small but fairly well off company of inventors in Stamford, CT, and now have almost two years of Flash and Actionscript development experience. 

I live by myself in a one bedroom apartment in Mamaroneck, NY, and am currently cracking out the Great American Fantasy Novel (tm)*.   Actually, I cracked it out when I was 21, but now I'm doing the necessary damage control with my slightly more experienced eye.
